Broccoli Casserole

Mom had a way of sharing recipes with her friends.  She got this recipe from her friend Mary Sutherland.

3 boxes frozen chopped broccoli
1 1/2 sticks butter
Medium-sized Velveeta
1 1/2 sleeves Ritz Crackers

Crush the crackers and brown crumbs in 1/2 stick butter until lightly browned.  Cook broccoli according to package directions and drain.  Mix broccoli, cheese, and 1 stick butter.  Put into casserole dish.  Top with browned crumbs.  Bake at 350 for 20 minutes, uncovered.
